Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods. I also am not comfortable with the Scentsy prices.I'm sure they work great, but I don't like the inconvenience of scheduling to smell so I can purchase. I purchased my BHG warmer and 3 scents a few days ago. My mom has owned two for about a year now and her house always smells wonderful. Its not as strong as the cubes though. I also purchased a couple of oils to add to my waxes.
I really didn't know too much about these warmers, but I was excited that I no longer needed a flame to melt the wax. Instead there is a 25W light bulb that gives off a soft glow while acting as a safe heat source for the scented wax cubes. I paid about $15 at Walmart for a wax warmer like this, but a different color. Better home & garden also carries wax tarts at Walmart for $2 each which is a steal. They smell wonderful and do make your entire house smell which I like. I also gave my Mom one I bought because I thought I needed two for my home, but nope just needed one.

I love my bulb warmer, but I have a tin primitive warmer with punch holes that glows around the room. I'm curious how easy it is to get the wax out of the ceramic with the knob in the center. I pop my tart holder cup in to the freezer for a few minutes then it will slide right out but the one with a knob would make it hard.
Hi everyone I am loving my new warmers. I have to agree the pumpkin one is so cute. BHG also has a acorn, apple, gourd leaf and more harvest warmers to choose from. The Expressions everyday warmer fits my decor perfectly so I was syked when I got that one. My Yankee Candle wax just slid out of the Scentsationals warmer when cool.
Better Homes & Garden Wax Warmer
I purchased my ScentSationals warmer for $15 and my Better Homes and Gardens warmer is usually $15, but I was able to catch a deal and get it for $11. Wax for Scentsationals and Better Homes and Garden is $2.00 for 6 cubes and wax for Scentsy is $5.oo for 8 cubes . You can purchase wax from ScentSationals online for $2.99 for 6 cubes, so no matter how or where you buy it, it still is the cheapest. One thing I disliked about Scentsy is that they charged me tax on my online order. ScentSationals charges shipping as well, but not on orders over $50.
But my love for the products was apparent and I was very eager to learn more. My friend assured me that if for some reason selling wasn’t for me that the Scentsy Starter Kit contained products so I didn’t have anything to lose. So I took a leap of faith and ordered my Scentsy Starter Kit.
Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Scented Wax Warmer Gingerbread House 2012 NIB
The workmanship was shoddy and just plain cheap. I invested in a Scentsy warmer and the difference in durability of product is night and day . Hi--just wanted to mention that I have a Scentsy warmer and I use BHG wax cubes (b/c they are cheaper) and the BHG cubes DO melt completely in my Scentsy warmer. I've been using the BHG cubes for over a year now, they have been around awhile but Walmart moves them around constantly.
I do find myself turning it off after 30 min b/c its so strong and that stretches it out a bit. You can see the editors opinion based on strength of throw and scent quality. Also has a pretty cool review of each scent.
It shows originality, sincerity, and honesty without batching any of the companies. Cleared payment cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab. A medium strength Walmart scent last about 6 hours.
Clean-up is the easiest in this warmer BY FAR though. It is so easy to pour back into the case and there's no thing in the middle to burn my fingers and overall, I love the design of the lid. It sometimes gets a little warm and when I want to transfer the wax, it kinda burns my fingers! Also, I can only burn ONE cube of wax at a time.
The products appear to be very similar, but there are differences besides just the cost. If you're looking for an easy beef tips and gravy recipe, look no further! The baking and fruit scented candles have always been a favorite of mine, so the wax cube choices were perfectly suited for me. That's how I clean my wax up too, with cotton balls. Super easy, no burning my fingers and done. I started selling Scentsy in October of 2012. I was hesitant to sign up, because I hadn’t ever sold anything!
I am one of those people that has to smell the scents of the candles before I actually buy them. The only downside to the Better Homes and Gardens warmer isn't even a problem with the warmer itself. The only complaint I have is with the wax. When I go to transfer the wax out of it, it quickly dries up and leaves hardened wax on the edges.
I sold $500 worth of products in a two-week period! Which took little to no effort at all. I got mine at walmart and it works just as good as scentsy.
